
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Colorado.ย It’s in effect from early this morning through late tonight. Snow is expected to pick up this morning and become moderate to heavy at times this afternoon.
Snow levels are expected to hover around 5,500ft in northern Colorado, while they will be around 8,500ft in the San Juans.ย

A potent upper level storm system and associated cold front dropping out of the northern Rockies will bring snow and colder temperatures to north central and northeastern Colorado Saturday night and Sunday. Accumulating snow is expected across much of the area with this system. High temperatures on the plains on Sunday are only expected to be only in the 20s with lows in teens to possibly single digits Sunday night. – NOAA, today
