Report from December 16, 2021

Brought to you by Alta Ski Area

Alta reported 4″ of snow last night.

I was lazy and showed up at noon.

Alta was skiing great today.

Collins Chair. image: snowbrains

Chopped up powder and wind buff covered the hill.

I could feel my legs and knees and brain finally getting used to some speed.

I could see others feeling the same.

It’s a whole other world when all the snow everywhere is soft.

I ripped laps under the Collins Chair (my 3rd favorite run at Alta) and off the High-T.

There was no one.

I skied right onto the chair every time, rode with strangers, and told them weird stories.

Today was a great day at Alta ๐Ÿ™‚

We’re off to Tahoe tomorrow!

  • Sound like the good Peruvian. Comes in nice chunky chowder, we not line it up, just pop nuggets off the key.
