Report from January 13th, 2020

Alta ski resort in Utah was damn fun yesterday.

It was a storm day in the morning with the sun poking out in the afternoon.

Alta has already seen 291″ of snow this season.

Alta has a 105″ snowpack right now.

The place is skiing great.

Where it was fresh, it was deep – real deep.

The morning started out with fun wind-buff and deep snow and progressed into fun chowder all over the mountain.

We skied Collins, High-Boy, then cranked laps on Wildcat including house laps, then a Keyhole down to Snowbird and came back on the Alta shuttle.

There were some small liftlines in the morning that completely vanished by 11:30am.

Alta is one of our favorite places to ski on a storm day.

The forecast continues to look good this week.
