Alex Honnold is going solo no more. The Oscar-winning rock climber and his fiancée Sanni McCandless got married yesterday in a small family ceremony on the shores of Lake Tahoe, CA. Fellow rock climber Tommy Caldwell officiated the ceremony.
We got married!! Small family ceremony on the lake, officiated by @tommycaldwell, totally lovely all the way around. @sannimccandless was radiant as always, the apocalyptic smoke cleared enough for some decent views, and we had a beautiful evening.

The couple have been engaged since Christmas 2019 when Alex popped the question.
Just last week Alex and a group of buddies cycled the perimeter of Lake Tahoe. Was this his bachelor party?!

And last month Alex was in the news for paddleboarding the length of Lake Tahoe, a 21-mile, 5.5-hour journey.
