After a snowy October across the west, with a few exceptions (PNW, I’m looking at you), Mother Nature hasn’t been too kind to ski areas over the last couple of weeks.

Bountiful snow that dumped in October has mostly melted away in California and Utah, and high temperatures mean that resorts can’t even make snow to get their bases started.

This has resulted in several resorts postponing their opening days… they just don’t have the snow, and therefore terrain, available to open with.

These are the resorts, so far, that have postponed opening day:

  • China is now the biggest contributor to global warming.

Left wing people have been trying to play patty cake with China for decades and called anyone who talked negatively about China a racist.

It was really smart to allow them to become a global economic, military and CO2 emissions powerhouse….

  • Ahhhh globular warming! Crowd: But wait it’s just a liberal myth to control our taxes! You must be seeing things!

It seems the right wing folks don’t believe how bad it is where this is a common theme now and pretend everything is all right.

  • right. because Alta is not interested in profits. if they continue to hold off they might be able to claim the title for fewest lift tickets sold over the season.

  • Pretty sure Alta has enough snow. They just did not want to get mobbed as the first resort in the wasatch to open….
