
4 ski resorts in the southern Andes mountains of South America have had to push back their opening dates up to 5 times due to a lack of snow. First it was June 18th, then June 25th, then July 1st, then TBD, and now 3 of them are opening this week and 1 opened last week.

Keep in mind that these ski resorts are all opening with limited operations. Most will have beginner terrain open only.
Catedral ski resort in Bariloche, Argentina has still not announced an opening date although they do have some small areas open for first time skiers and riders.
