A skier and snowboarder broke the world record for the most ski areas skied in 24-hours this weekend, managing to hit an incredible 23 resorts.

The pair smashed theย previous world recordย of 17 in HAKUBAVALLEY, Japan.

Kyle Kelly and Brad Dykstra from West Michigan began their quest at noon on Saturday at Nubs Nob in Harbor Springs, MI.

โ€œWe started in Northern Michigan at Nubs Nub and then we Sโ€™d our way through the state and ended up at Cannonsburg.โ€

– Brad Dykstra

All 23 resorts were in Michigan, and many opened lifts early to help the boys break the record.

โ€œThe proximity of all these resorts in Michigan, itโ€™s got a higher density of resorts than most other places in the country or the world even.โ€

– Brad Dykstra

The pair finished at noon on Sunday at Cannonsburg Ski Area.ย They had to meticulously document evidence of their journey with lift tickets, photos, and a non-stop 24-hour film to submit to Guinness World Records.
