2025-26 Military Epic Pass Starts at Just $185

Military roots run deep at Vail Resorts as Vail Mountain was founded in the 1960s by Pete Seibert of the 10th Mountain Division and Army engineer Earl Eaton, both of whom served during World War II. They leveraged their expertise in terrain assessment to pioneer trail design and infrastructure development to ensure that Vail Mountain would offer challenging and enjoyable skiing experiences. This legacy can still be felt today in the difficult terrain, adventurous spirit, and commitment to the outdoors that inspire team members across Vail Resorts.

Vail Resorts celebrates the men and women who serve or have served our country by offering a special  Military Epic Pass, with a discounted rate for families. What you may not know is that through inclusive access Epic for Everyone programs, Vail Resorts collaborates with nonprofit partners that serve the adaptive and disability community, with a focus on military members and veterans, to facilitate their participation in snow-related activities with partners including:

  • Vail Veterans at Vail Mountain
  • National Ability Center at Park City Mountain
  • Two Top Adaptive at Whitetail and 7 Springs resorts
  • Adaptive Adventures at Wilmot
  • Tactical Reintegration Group at Mount Sunapee

The Epic Military Pass Active, Epic Military Pass Active Dependent, Epic Military Pass Retired, and Epic Military Pass Retired Dependent all cost $185. All Epic Military Passes have unlimited access to all Vail Resorts-owned and operated resorts. The Liberty and Liberty Dependent Passes have unlimited access to Keystone resort only.
