Alta,UT Conditions Report: Julian Carr in Main Chute on Nov. 2nd

Julian Carr and crew hiked up and skied Main Chute at Alta on Saturday.  Conditions looked damn good in the chute and even better on the aprons below.

Alta has been getting snow for about a month now with the most recent storms piling up and creating some unreal early season skiing conditions.

Lets all just be vey careful while skiing this early season.  There are hidden obstacles just under the snow’s surface out there.  Avalanches are also a reality.  Just last week, there were 2 avalanches at Alta.
