Rescue crews used helicopters to rescue two injured climbers on two Colorado 14,000′ peaks over the weekend.
A woman with leg injury was rescued by helicopter from 14,065′ Mt. Bierstadt.
Another injured climber was rescued by helicopter from 14,265′ Mt. Evans.
Both of these rescue were performed at high altitude.
Colorado’s 14ers have killed 9 climbers this year.
